Preserving Woodward’s Squat Oral Histories and More

The Making Research Accessible initiative (MRAi) and organizations in the Downtown Eastside have been working together to preserve community materials in UBC’s open access repository and linking to them through the DTES Research Access Portal.

This includes materials like the extensive oral accounts of the historic Woodward’s Squat as well as zines, annual reports and even interactive maps.
