The Overdose Prevention Peer Research Assistant (OPPRA) Project is a community-based participatory action research partnership between the Overdose Prevention Society (OPS) and BC Centre on Substance Use (BCCSU). The project conducts strengths-based research related to harm reduction. Through capacity building and collaborative learning, OPPRA meaningfully involves people with lived and living experience working in harm reduction and using substances at every step of the research process.
