This infographic is based on the following article : Yakashiro, N. (2021). “Powell street is dead”: Nikkei loss, commemoration, and representations of place in the settler colonial city. Urban History Review, 48(2), 32-55. This undergraduate student work is a product of a collaboration between the Making Research Accessible initiative (MRAi), researchers, Dr. Evan Mauro and the students of ASTU 100 at UBC.
