This graphic novel summarizes Marie-Ève Desroches' thesis on the place of social housing in the development of Healthy Cities through the lens of the ethics of care. The strip presents the process of completing the dissertation and its key findings. It also provides a snapshot of the three social housing programs Desroches studied in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver that served as case studies: Growing Up to the Roof! by Mon Toit, mon Cartier (Montreal), New Lives Start Here by the Massey Centre (Toronto), and the Cause we Care House by the YWCA Metro Vancouver.
