Founded in 2014 by Ken Lyotier, the Coffee Cup Revolution demonstrates binners' (also known as waste-pickers or dumpster divers) eagerness and readiness to participate in a solution to Vancouver's massive coffee cup use. This one-day depot gives out 10 cent refunds on every used coffee cup collected. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, we collected a record-smashing 145,446 cups at the depot in just 3 hours.
