Description

This is part two of our discussion on safe supply. Last time, we talked about traditional approaches to harm reduction like OAT, and we went over some of the reasons why it doesn’t work for everyone. That is only part of the motivation for safe supply. In this episode, we explore what safe supply looks like and how it works. How does employment impact well-being? What is the impact of housing on your health? Join UBC medical student Maddie Elder and her co-host, UBC community engagement librarian Nick Ubels, for a new, conversational podcast where they explore current health research in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside (DTES). The podcast is supported by the Making Research Accessible initiative (MRAi), whose goal is to increase the benefit, usefulness, and accessibility of research in the neighbourhood.
