Event: Breaking Down Barriers to Research Access (Nov. 18)
Join two Downtown Eastside librarians to learn about how they can help you access the research information you’re looking for. Nick Ubels (Community Engagement Librarian at the UBC Learning Exchange) and Heather De Forest (Community Scholars Librarian at SFU Library) will showcase free resources including the Community Scholars Program and the Downtown Eastside Research Access Portal. They’ll also discuss ways they can support your use of research evidence. We’ll start with a convenient online session followed by a special “Pop Up Library” on the ground floor of 312 Main. Be sure to stop by and say hello!
